Management: 4 out of 5 Location: 4 out of 5 Value: 5 out of 5 Condition: 5 out of 5 I currently have a 2 BR 17th floor unit that goes for $1945 and is very much worth it. The units is spacious, has carpeting throughout, and has two separate bathrooms for each unit (no 0.5 bathroom for guests, though). Located 1 block from a 24 hr CVS, 3 blocks from a Trader Joes and 2 blocks from the 19th Street stop on the Trolley, the location is great (although the surrounding streets are a little grungy). The units have central A/C and heat, electric stoves, and in-unit washer-dryers so the electricity bill might be a bit high, but no more than $150 total during peak usage months (i.e. January, February)and about $115 on average at 2006 rates. During winter months, heating 2 BR units that have one room with 4+ windows and the other BR with only 1 window can be annoying b/c of temperature differences and poor heating circulation in apartments. Doormen and maintenance staff are very friendly and attentive. Edit Delete |
