2429 Locust St Philadelphia, PA 19103 A 6 story loft apartment building with approx 20 units on each floor. Apartments are lofts with elevated sleeping areas, central air and heat, and laundry in each unit. There is indoor secure parking but no doorman or gym. Managment office can receive packages for residents. Some people complain about the train noise, which can be distracting if you sleep with the windows open and trains go by at night. Management: 0 out of 5 Location: 0 out of 5 Value: 0 out of 5 Condition: 0 out of 5 Sadly, Locust Point is in the middle of a condo conversion. I've lived here for 2 years - its a short 20 min walk to campus and the park along the river is super close. There is a dog park across the street too. You may be able to rent an apartment from the new owners - I would expect to pay about $1800 to $2K for a 1BR based on the sale prices of the units. The building has indoor secure parking as well, but no gym right now, although one is supposed to be installed after the conversion. Edit Delete |
